Executive Principal’s Blog – 21 November 2014

It was great once again to meet so many of you at the Year 11 Parents’ Consultation Evening on Tuesday of this week and see the sense of real urgency and importance that our students are placing on the imminent Pre Public Exams. The next few months in school, as we lead up to the GCSEs in May and June of this academic year, will undoubtedly be a crucial time and we wish all our hard working Year 11 students every success.

Our first ever Governors’ Day at Bushey Meads School was also a real highlight of the week and I would to thank all the Governors for the part that they played in making the day such a success. Indeed much appreciation is due to them all for their continuing hard work in helping to strategically support the Senior Leadership Team of the school and act as real ‘critical friends’ to the learning community here at BMS.

On Thursday our joint staff and governors’ training event was a real ‘moment in time’ as we shared the brand new School Improvement Plan 2014 -17 which will help take this fabulous school to the next level – exciting times!

As usual, do also click on the link to read this week’s BMS News highlighting some of the other key events of the week……..
