Governors’ Terms of Reference

Finance and Strategic Planning Committee

This Committee works with the school in developing and planning the implementation of the longer-term vision of the school. It has a specific remit in preparing the finances for scrutiny by the Full Governing Body and ensuring the budget is monitored throughout the year.

Performance Monitoring Committee

This Committee examines the school’s performance in terms of academic results, departmental performance and the School’s Improvement Plan. The Committee also has oversight of the school curriculum in each key stage.

Staffing Matters Committee

This Committee examines staffing within the school to ensure staffing is reviewed in response to the strategic vision of the school. Members of the Committee may take part in the selection procedures of new staff or promotions.

Infrastructure Committee

This Committee is responsible for the school site, its maintenance and development, and has a specific remit for Health and Safety.
