Mark and Thomas Crippen nominated and accepted for JRPC Hockey 2012

                        Mark (Form 10MB) and Thomas (Form 10MSO) have been nominated and selected to attend the Under 15 boys JRPC Hockey camps as Goalkeepers. This is the Junior Regional Performance Camp run by The England Hockey Board. There are 34 Under 15 boys that are taking part from 5 counties including 5 Goalkeepers.

Both boys have been attending JAC – Junior Academy Camp in which they played for Hertfordshire. The JAC coaches then nominated the boys for JRPC and were accepted to attend the camp. This involves 6 training sessions each lasting 6 hours – 2 hours of training followed by 2 hours for lunch and lectures covering not only skills but nutrition and fitness then a further 2 hours of training. They are required to keep a food and fitness diary for the whole of the course.

The training on Saturday 30th June was conducted on the pitch that the GB Hockey Team will be preparing and training on for the Olympics in a couple of weeks time.
