Year   9 vBusheyAcademy(District Prem League) Result   : Lost   2-0 Scorers :
Squad : George Tabor, Jake Rasmussen, Sonny   Grinham, Matthew Walker, Nick Wing, Matt Bernard, Jake Ellis, Taylor   Mitchell, Harry Baker, Ridhawn Shodeinde, George Payne, Alex Garvey, Dominic   Ashwell, Cameron Richards, Connor Hazell Morgan Commended   performances  : Whole team
Comment : In a game where which ever team won   would win the league both teams put in solid performances and lots of   commitment. Bushey Meads set themselves up to be difficult to brake down,   which was the case before a long range effort form the Bushey Academy sneaked   under the bar just before half time. In the second half Bushey Meads battled   to get back in the game and came close with some chances, however were   punished late when Bushey Academy sealed the game, and as a result the league   title with a second goal. The boys can hold there heads up high however as it   has been a terrific season in which second place in the league was achieved.

Competition:Senior District League v   Immanuel Result   : Won 9-5 Tuesday 6th   November
Squad:A.Bates, C.Liebling,   J.Stringer, K.Waldorf, G.Brooks, M.Pooley, E.Charalombous Home
Comment:Bushey Meads put up a   spirited display against local rivals Immanuel.  With some new players stepping in the team   were unused to playing together but acquitted themselves really well.  Bushey took an early lead and never looked   back with some sound passing and good attacking play.  A well deserved victory.

Competition:Yr 7 v  ImmanuelDistrict League Result   : Lost 12-7 Tuesday 6th   November
Squad :S.Ballantine, E.Ferugarias, L.Bates, L.Parr, O.McManus,   N.Rose, M.Liberty, K.Geraghty, C.Baldry Home
Comment : The year 7 netball team played some really good attacking play   and were goal for goal with Immanuel throughout the first half of the   game.  Some fantastic shooting could   not be replicated at the Bushey Meads defensive circle and unfortunately   Immanuel pulled away in the last few minutes of the game to secure victory.

Competition:Senior V St.Joan of ArcDistrict League Result   : Lost 9-17 Monday 22nd October
Squad:A.Bates, C.Liebling,   J.Stringer, L.Smith, E.Smith, J.Pepito, G.Brooks, K.Rogero Away
Comment:Again Bushey Meads came   off the court a losing side but having had an equal share of the game.  In a fast paced game Bushey Meads worked   hard to retain possession and reduce their opposition’s attempts at   goal.  In the attacking third they   faced some great defending which reduced their scoring chances and secured   victory for the home side.
Competition:Yr 10 v  St.Joan of ArcDistrict League Result : Lost 29-7  Monday 22nd   October
Squad:N.Powell, C.Williams,   M.Sykes, E.Murray, E.Charalombous, , L.Dare, C.Shaiboo, Away
Comment :The yr 10 netball team   were under pressure from the start of their game, the SJA attack were   accurate and decisive and rarely missed a shot.  Bushey meads settled down in the final half   of the game but by then the deficit was too large.  The girls should be commended for keeping   going and working hard until the final whistle, but unfortunately they were   beaten by a better team.
