Examination Results 2015

This year has seen another good set of results for students at Bushey Meads School. Many of our students achieved outstanding results in a wide range of subjects.

At GCSE, we are really proud of the achievements of our students this summer who have been rewarded with many outstanding results in their various examinations.

  • At GCSE, 60% of students achieved 5A* – C including English and Maths, which is above national figures.
  • At GCSE, 87% of English Literature students achieved A* – C which is well above the national average.
  • 70% of Maths students achieved at least expected progress which is above the national average.

Bushey Meads is also proud of its English Baccalaureate success rate with 32% of all students achieving a good qualification (C or above) in a core of academic subjects where the national average is 24%.

19 key subject areas out of a possible 25 maintained or improved their A* – C pass rate from 2014, the average improvement being 16.5% up on last year.
