GCSE results at the popular, heavily oversubscribed school in Coldharbour Lane (ranked 5th most popular I Hertfordshire – School’s Guru) are the best results the school has seen. Many students, including those listed below, are celebrating some outstanding success and marking the culmination of another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for all students at the school where nearly 1 in 5 students achieved at least five top A* and A grades and over 80% of students passed with at least five good A* – C GCSE grades. Executive Principal Jeremy Turner (appointed in September 2014) said:

We are really pleased with the superb success of our GCSE students this year. So many of them have achieved their target grades and the overall headline figures demonstrate that the school is continuing to provide an excellent education to students in the local area. I would like to congratulate and thank all the hard working and dedicated staff, students and their parents for their commitment and support throughout the year.

For the fourth year running improved A-level results have built on the excellent foundations laid by staff and students at Bushey Meads School. This year students will be celebrating some outstanding successes, marking the culmination of another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for students at the school, with an overall pass rate of 100%. Executive Principal Jeremy Turner said:

“We are once again thrilled and delighted with the outstanding success of our A Level students. The vast majority have achieved their places at some of the country’s top universities and the headline figures demonstrate that the school is continuing to provide a high quality education to students in the local area. I would like to congratulate and thank all the hard working and dedicated staff, students and their parents for their continued commitment and ongoing support.”

  • Michael Freeman who achieved A* grades in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and a B in Computer Studies.
  • Eliana Hanton who achieved A* grades in Biology and the Extended Project Qualification and A grades in Chemistry and Psychology.
  • Amira Izhar who achieved A* grades in English Literature and the Extended Project Qualification, A grades in Biology and History and has gained a place at Oxford University.
  • Andrew Powell who achieved an A* in Mathematics and A grades in Further Mathematics and Physics. 
  • Harry Eagell who achieved an A* in Mathematics, an A in Biology and a B in Chemistry.
  • Tracey Fernandes who achieved an A* in Mathematics, an A in Further Mathematics and a B in Biology.
  • Eleanor Hale who achieved an A* in Psychology, A grades in Geography and the Extended Project Qualification and a B in Biology.
  • Isabella Stovey who achieved an A* in Fine Art, an A in Media and a B in Geography.
  • Elin Bonyardi who achieved an A* in the Extended Project Qualification and A grades in Biology, Mathematics and Psychology.
  • Sam Farman who achieved A grades in Geography, Economics, Law and the Extended Project Qualification.
  • Ross Halsey who achieved A grades in Biology, Mathematics, Physics and the Extended Project Qualification.
  • Jayson Patel who achieved A grades in Mathematics and Physics and B grades in Computer Science and the Extended Project Qualification.
