The theme of the conference was ‘Systems and
Structures to Secure Effective School Improvement’
and there was a real focus on teaching and learning, maximising achievement and developing leadership capacity across the learning community.
The feedback received was extremely positive and reminded us of the superb place that our school is in; great credit to all our hard working staff, governors and trustees, talented and dedicated students and wholly supportive parents and carers.
The conference was held after our inspiring annual Rewards Evening which took place on Thursday evening when we reflected back and celebrated, not only the whole school’s exceptional achievements, but also the superb individual achievements of so many of our great students. It was a real ‘moment in time’ and one that our distinguished guest speaker Oliver James Dowden CBE MP was very impacted by, clearly impressed with the outstanding journey that our wonderful school has been on in recent years .
