From June 4th-6th, 56 GCSE Geography students took part in a visit to Weymouth and Chesil Beach on the Dorset Coastline, with the aim of collecting data for their Controlled Assessment task. The students enjoyed the challenge of working in teams to complete measurements at 4 sites along the 18-mile long tombolo of Chesil Beach. They certainly earned their reward of a bowling challenge at the local alley, where Mr Reid showed off his skills admirably.
