Executive Principal’s Blog – 10.1.25: ‘A Time to Reflect Back and Look Forward’
At the start of a new year it is a time to reflect back on what has happened and also look forward to the coming months ahead and the possibilities of what can be achieved. We all know that life is full of ups and downs and, in amongst the sadness, we continue to celebrate all the good things we are grateful for.
This week we were very touched by a message sent to the school by Mrs Barnes on behalf of her family that have been through such a very painful and sad time with the tragic loss of their lovely son and valued member of the Bushey Meads School community Zach last term.
To All staff and Pupils at Bushey Meads, We would like to thank Mrs Mateides and everyone involved for the lovely memory book capturing the brief time Zach had at Bushey Meads. Zach and Thomas had special friends and teachers at the school and they continue to help us through this painful journey. It was also amazing to see all the pupils raising money for Noah’s Ark hospice and Watford General, it means such a lot to raise funds for these special and invaluable charities. We will cherish all the memories and would also like to say a special thank you to Miss Court and Mr Cartledge who have always gone over and above for both Zach and Thomas over the years.
