At the end of another very busy but hugely successful half term at BMS I would like to thank all staff, students, parents and carers, and Governors and Trustees for all their support and encouragement over the last six weeks. The staff at BMS really do ‘go the extra mile’ for the students in their care and so much continues to be achieved across all curriculum areas – enabling all our students to achieve their true potential.
An outstanding example of one of our students Aspiring to Achieve at the very highest level is Jess – a hugely talented Year 7 BMS student who finished an amazing 3rd (from a field of over 80 girls who had already qualified in the grueling District events) in the Hertfordshire County Cross-Country Championships last Saturday morning in St Albans. It was a truly outstanding performance and the best finishing position that the school has seen in this event. Jess will now be competing in the National Event and we wish her well with her continued training.
A huge thank you must also go to all the staff and students involved in our amazing annual School Production Oliver which took place this week. It was yet again another showcase of the tremendous talent that exists across the Performing Arts disciplines at our wonderful school.
On that note, I wish all a very happy weekend and a productive half term holiday. Don’t forget to click on the link to read about the rest of this week’s BMS News……..
