Executive Principal’s Blog – 13.2.26: ‘Sensational Seussical Production’
 I would like to congratulate all staff and students involved in this year’s incredible production of Seussical The Musical. It was a really uplifting and professional show – full of colour and joy!
Directed by our hugely talented drama teacher, Ms Foreman, it made for an incredibly positive end to a very busy half term and made us all very proud of our wonderful school community here at Bushey Meads, demonstrating what can be achieved by working together with talented students and staff.
 Many staff, parents and carers, students, extended family members, friends of the school and a number of ex staff and students really enjoyed all aspects of the production, commenting how impressive the acting, singing, choreography, set design, back stage and technical aspects of lighting and sound were.
It has been great to receive so many positive comments from a number of different stakeholders, an example of which is provided:
Dear Mr Knowles and the Whole Team,
I just wanted to drop you a line to congratulation you, the production team and all the students involved in last night’s performance of Seussical. It was great to see the level of ambition in every department – a live band was great to see, along with the sound design to bring it all together; lighting, set, costume and props were all so impressive; not to mention the standard of performance across acting, singing and dancing, and the staging and musical direction.
You have such talent at your disposal, and it was very heartening to see it utilised in all directions. Please do pass on my congratulations to all staff and students involved – we left feeling uplifted and cheered. BMS Governor
At the end of very another busy and productive half term we wish our hard-working Year 11 and Year 13 students all the best for their next round of Pre-Public Exams or PPEs taking place after half term – don’t forget to have a good break, but also use the time to revise next week.
