Executive Principal’s Blog – 24.10.25: ‘Ending on a Real High’ As we come to the end of a very busy and productive half term I would like to thank all our hard-working and inspirational staff, our fantastic students and supportive parents and Governors and Trustees who have all contributed to making the start of this academic year so positive.
Our school and multi academy trust continue to offer so many superb opportunities for students to excel and enrich their lives. I have lost count of the number of extracurricular activities, clubs, trips and sporting fixtures that have taken place over the last eight weeks and how much fun and enjoyment has been experienced by those who have taken part. On Tuesday the BSJT Dance Showcase epitomised this perfectly and I would like to congratulate Advanced Lead Teacher Miss Joannou and all the students from Bushey Meads, Hartsbourne Primary and Little Reddings who took part. It was amazing to see how well they worked together to produce such a stunning show. The final curtain call indicated the enthusiasm and commitment shown by all: BSJT Dance Show Curtain Call It was also superb to welcome so many of our Year 7 parents and carers to the school yesterday for our Year 7 Curriculum Celebration Evening. Even though the student presenters and performers have only been in the school for eight weeks, they demonstrated great confidence to take part with such skill on the main stage, showcasing the brilliant work that they have completed across all curriculum areas.
Some excellent displays of work were provided by each faculty in the school restaurant area and parents and students took the opportunity to enjoy the refreshments and admire the quality and creativity on show. The event also saw an 80-student strong Year 7 Singing Group performing at the end of the evening – it made for a great joy-packed event. If you would like to listen again to the two lovely songs sung by our Year 7 Cohort at the end of the evening, do click on the two links below; it was a real testimony to their enthusiasm and commitment to see and hear them singing so well: Year 7 Song 1Year 7 Song 2

With very best wishes for a safe and very happy half term.
