Executive Principal’s Blog – 24.11.23 – ‘Terrific Teamwork!’
This week it has been a real privilege to join some of the inspiring House Assemblies taking place, led by our outstanding Heads of House who all bring so much leadership and fun to the school. In Maple House Assembly Head of House Mr Burnell spoke about the Theme of the Week and reminded all students about the power of teamwork and how much we can all achieve together.
Student representatives from across the Maple CDC groups also shared their thoughts about the power of team and a number of outstanding students received prestigious Head of House Certificates recognising their contribution to and beyond the school community. It was a really inspiring start to the day. Next week, on Thursday 30th November from 2.05 – 4.05 pm, one of the most significant house events of the year is taking place in the Main Hall and BSJT Art Gallery – our Annual House Arts Event 2023. I would like to congratulate all the students who have entered and wish them every success.
All parents and carers are welcome to join us at the event and any students who haven’t entered or who aren’t one of the specially invited ‘plus ones’ can also attend after school from 3.05 pm.
The Heads of House and some superb students also put together a great and very funny promotional video to advertise the event. I would like to congratulate and thank all involved for their hard work in creating it and being willing to share it in each House Assembly this week and next.
