Executive Principal’s Blog – 25.4.25: ‘Building Momentum Towards Success’
Motivational speaker, leadership coach, entrepreneur and New York Times bestselling author Adam Braun often talks about the power of how small actions can effectively build great momentum, which in turn leads to great success. Every day at Bushey Meads small actions take place which lead to a collective momentum aiming for success.
We saw this first hand in the recent Easter holidays when dedicated teachers at the school gave up their free time to organise specially crafted revision sessions to support our hard-working Year 11 and 13 students and, on a student level, Year 11 and 13 students making the effort to attend and fully engage in the sessions on offer. These small steps build momentum and are the keys to success.
Next weekend our Study Saturdays start in the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm for Year 11 and 13 students. Students can come in and revise together for as long as they want to within that time. The Study Saturdays really helped last year’s cohort and were one of the most appreciated strategies we employed to support students in the run up to their exams. They will run from May 3rd for the next six weeks.
