Executive Principal’s Blog – 27.11.25 ‘Stunning Sixth Form Open Evening’ As another productive week in the life of our school comes to an end, it is good to look back and reflect on some of the highlights.
It was a privilege to welcome so many current Year 11 students and their parents and carers to our annual Sixth Form Open Evening on Tuesday of this week.
With a good number of external students from other local schools attending, it was another indication of our real success at this level and strong recognition of the growing popularity of our superb Post 16 provision, rated good with outstanding features by Ofsted in earlier this year.
Under the outstanding leadership of Assistant Headteacher Miss Silla, whereas many local schools are limiting their course offer, at Bushey Meads Year 11 students now have even more choice of curriculum pathways at Post 16 and even more chance of success as they prepare to take their next steps beyond school to apprenticeships, the world of work and those top university places many of them are aspiring to.
