Executive Principal’s Blog – 7.2.20: The rich legacy of honesty
 Acts of kindness have a big impact and honesty, truthfulness and citizenship are superb attributes to develop in young people today; this is something we hold dear and aim to inculcate in all our students at Bushey Meads.
Just this week I was inspired to receive an email from the parent of one of our Year 7 students who took the trouble to write a quick email to commend one of our Year 8 students Safia for finding her son’s phone which he left on the school bus on Friday. They really appreciated her act of kindness and honesty.
It was William Shakespeare who was quoted as saying “No legacy is so rich as honesty”; the honest kind act that Safia showed last week has undoubtedly left a legacy.
