Executive Principal’s Blog – 8.5.26: ‘Making Your Voice Heard.’ This week the Children’s Commissioner, Dame Rachel de Souza contacted the school and is asking parents and carers to encourage their children to complete her new survey, The Big Future. Under the Children Act 2004, it is her role to promote the views and interests of children in England and is capturing their views via the survey which can be completed through this link: http://www.childrenscommissioner.gov.uk/thebigfuture.
In terms of surveys, I would like to thank the parents and carers who took the time to complete the ParentView survey last week. If you didn’t get the chance to do so, please do that via this link below:
This weekend our Study Saturdays continue in the LRC from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm for Year 11 and 13 students. Last week it was really encouraging to see over 70 students attend and work so hard to prepare themselves for their upcoming exams. Many of them really appreciated the opportunity to work in a supervised space, individually or with their friends. Students can attend for as long as they want to within the four-hour timescale.
With many thanks in advance and d on’t forget to also click on the usual link to read the latest BMS News……..
