Next Tuesday 7th November is our very important annual Sixth Form Open Evening from 6.30 – 8.30 pm and we are expecting all our Year 11 students and their parents and carers to attend.
Last year nearly 60 external students from other local schools also attended this key event with their families – another indication of our real success at Post 16 level and strong recognition of the growing popularity of our superb school.
Whereas many local schools are limiting their course offer, at Bushey Meads Year 11 students now have even more choice of curriculum pathways and even more chance of success as they prepare to take their next steps beyond school to apprenticeships, the world of work and those top university places many of them are aspiring to.
So do make sure you attend and don’t miss out on this crucial evening!
On Thursday of this week it was really great to welcome so many families to our really successful Year 7 Curriculum Celebration Evening – an event run by the students and showcasing all the brilliant work they have completed since starting at the school. I would like to thank all the hard working staff and students for making the evening such a success.
