Contacting us
Should you need to report your child’s absence, medical appointment or reason for a late arrival, please do so by using one of the following options:
- Calling the Attendance Line on 0208 950 3000 option 1
- Arbor:
You can use the Quick Action button in Arbor for same day absence reporting (The quick action button can be located on the Arbor App – bottom left hand side identified as 3 horizontal lines) then click Attendance and log absence
OR for future appointments you can send an Inapp Message (Messages can be found on the Arbor App – bottom right hand side icon which will bring you to Messages)
We ask that you always provide details of their symptoms if your child is unwell, so we can action the absence as soon as possible. If we need further information, we may contact you directly.
We kindly ask that all absences for your child are logged directly by you, through Arbor or the Attendance line on the morning of their absence and every day thereafter. This will help us keep our records accurate.
Medical Appointments
If a student has a planned medical appointment during the school day, we require Parents & Carers to inform us in advance via the above options. Students are required to sign out at the Attendance Office before they leave the school site and, if returning on the same day, must sign back in again on their return.
Please note, if there is any doubt about the reason for the absence, it will be recorded as unauthorised and we will investigate further.
