An exciting day which kicked off with a visit to Nou camp. We sat in the stadium and had a fabulous view of the pitch and visited the Barca museum where we learnt about the history of the club. We had a picnic lunch in the park and then visited La Sagrada Familia. We used tablets to find out about Gaudi and the reasons behind his design of this stunning cathedral. On arriving back at Vilanova we went for a swim then had a typically Spanish dinner of tapas (patatas bravas, tortilla española….) , espaguetis and birthday cake to celebrate Elise’s 13th birthday! The highlight of the day (as well as our swim), was our Latin American dance evening. Everyone learnt La Salsa, Merengue ,Chacha Cha and El Mambo. They all loved it – the boys were leading at the front! It was great fun and we chacha-ed our way to bed. Buenas noches!
