Bushey Meads News
As we draw to the end of another busy week that has presented some challenges in terms of the adverse weather conditions, I would like to thank all the staff for their real commitment to the students at Bushey Meads School.
Despite the snowy pictures taken this morning, not one of the teacher-student contact hours was lost; at such a crucial time in our students’ education with many revision sessions and ongoing preparation for the forthcoming GCSE and A level exams taking place; it is something to be really thankful for.
On every winter morning a full risk assessment and site walk takes place at the school to ensure the health and safety of the school community and each member of staff has played their part in getting to school safely and supervising all the students in our care.
In particular I would like to thank our site team and in particular Mr Campion, Mr Mottram and Mr Napier who worked really hard this morning to ensure that paths and walkways were cleared and gritted. We have all appreciated their hard work to keep the school up and running.

I would also like to thank all the parents and carers for the part that they have played. Here’s hoping for more spring-like weather next week!
