Corrie Ten Boom reminds us that “memories are the key, not to the past, but to the future” and we all know that the best and most sustaining memories from our own education are created from those learning experiences that were fun. It is often these unique and memorable experiences that really shape our future paths and become real keys to unlock doors beyond where we are at the moment.
These memories are often a welcome by-product of our regular enrichment days that we arrange for all students at Bushey Meads throughout the academic year and were summed up by one Year 10 student who told me that the Careers and Enterprise Activity Day arranged for his cohort on Thursday of this week was the ‘best enrichment day ever’ – a memory that will undoubtedly remain with him for some time.
Another group of students had an amazing opportunity to work alongside a professional dancer, soon to be a published author.
I would like to thank all the hard working staff and wonderful students for making this week’s Enrichment Day such a success.
With very best wishes for a good weekend and don’t forget to click on the link to read about the rest of this week’s BMS News……..
