I would like to thank all parents and carers who gave their views via ParentView earlier this term. Compared to all local schools the results are extremely positive. For some schools data is not available as not enough parents have even taken the time to give their views.
I am delighted to report that responses in 50% of the areas surveyed (6 out of the 12 categories) have improved from 2016.17 by an average increase of 3%:
- My child feels safe
- My child is well looked after
- This school makes sure its pupils are well behaved
- The school deals effectively with bullying
- The school is well led and managed
- I receive valuable information from the school about my child’s progress
In addition the vast majority of parents (a whopping 86%) would strongly recommend Bushey Meads School to another parent. This is 3% higher than even the most popular local school; only one school in the South West Herts region boasts a higher response.

This week there have been so many superb and special events taking place. Sports Day on Monday was a huge success and it was a great occasion for the whole school community to come together and celebrate all that is good about health and fitness, an agenda so well promoted by one of our top faculties here at BMS under the outstanding leadership of Mr Cartledge.
