Executive Principal’s Blog – 12.2.21: “Words are not Enough”
Sometimes words are not enough.
This term has been immensely challenging for anyone working in education and I want to pay tribute to all the staff at Bushey Meads – all of them critical workers on the frontline.
On January 4th, if only 10 students had walked through the gate, things would have been very different and not all staff would have been at work each day. They have been however, and not only have they simply ‘been here’ but they have continued to deliver outstanding lessons, have embraced the challenges of delivering live lessons online and have also supported over 300 students who have returned to school during this lockdown period for face to face lessons.
They have been true heroes.
As parents and carers you have kept us going; we have never had so many positive messages of thanks for being here at school for your children, or for delivering live lessons to those who have remained at home. We are extremely grateful for your support.
Do enjoy a great half term break. We look forward to seeing you in your remote Live Lessons or here at school for the face to face learning experience from Wednesday 24th February.
