Executive Principal’s Blog – 13.5.22: ‘Moving Forward at BMS’
As you will be aware, at the heart of any complex organisation is a robust and effective management information system. For many years the school has used SIMs as their MIS but, in line with a number of outstanding schools across the country, we are moving to a new system Arbor, the UK’s fastest-growing cloud MIS today, helping many primary schools, secondary schools and Multi Academy Trusts work more easily and collaboratively.
Key leaders across the school and the Trust have researched the benefits and we are now in the stage of training and development to ensure our new system is fully in place by September 2022.
With that in mind we are holding a very necessary additional whole staff training session on Friday 1st July. On that day students will be allowed to leave school at 1.20 pm. For those who need to stay on site during the afternoon a supervised space will be provided.
