Executive Principal’s Blog – 17.12.21 ‘Happy Christmas Everyone!’

As we all come to the end of a very busy autumn term, I would like to wish all students, parents, carers, Governors and Trustees a very Happy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year and, as always, thank you for your ongoing support for the school.

As a school community we have a continued responsibility to test ourselves using Lateral Flow Devices twice weekly during the Christmas break and, on return to school in the New Year, our Health Care Team will be facilitating testing on site during the first week to ensure we all stay safe. Do continue to report any positive cases through the link on the school website:

Despite the obvious ongoing challenges that we have had to face as a school community, we have had so many positive things to celebrate this term and can be really proud of all our fantastic achievements. One positive example that has definitely brought some additional festive cheer to us all in our School Reception has been the Year 7 MFL Christmas Card entries, now an annual event in our school calendar.

I would also like to thank all students, and especially the hard working and dedicated Sixth Form leaders for working so hard to make this year’s Christmas Entertainment one of the best yet – there is so much quality talent in our school and being able to enjoy their acts on stage over the last few days made for a very uplifting end to the term.

We look forward to even greater success in 2022 as we all continue to work together to enable all our students to truly Aspire to Achieve.
