Executive Principal’s Blog – 17.4.26: ‘Outstanding Ambassadors for the Arts and BMS!’

Talented dancers from Bushey Meads joined secondary schools from across the region at the Cadogan Hall in London to perform some truly superb dances they had been practising at school, in The Great Big Dance Off. They were competing to see who could take the trophy back to school and potentially progress on to the National Finals.

As one of the biggest and most popular national dance competitions open to schools across England and Wales, it was a very prestigious event and the students who took part certainly did us proud. The performance of the BMS Elite Dance Company was typical of the extremely high quality of entries on display; do watch and enjoy their performance via the link below:

Also this week, our talented GCSE Drama students were performing their scripted plays and monologues as part of their important GCSE practical assessments in front of a live audience and official GCSE examiner. The standard of performance across the board was superb and a real credit to all the students’ hard work and dedicated practice and rehearsal under the talented direction of their teacher Ms Foreman.

At the end of an inspiring week I would like to wish you all a very happy weekend. Do click on the link to read about this week’s BMS News.
