Executive Principal’s Blog – 2.2.24 – ‘Engaging Enriching Experiences’
Yesterday all students enjoyed another one of our superb enrichment days and had the opportunity to experience some deeper learning opportunities across a whole range of different activities.
These included a theme-based treasure hunt around the school and the creation of social media-based presentations about different religions, the opportunity to experience different roles and responsibilities on a real-life production line, taking part in various exciting STEM orientated practical tasks and challenges, learning about sexual health, fitness, wellbeing, healthy relationships, future careers, as well as important GCSE focussed theme days and stimulating sessions on ethics and mental health.
The atmosphere in school was extremely positive and I would like to thank all our hard working and dedicated staff for providing such positive experiences for our students. I would also like to thank Assistant Headteacher Mrs Greenwood for overseeing and coordinating such a fantastic day.
