Executive Principal’s Blog – 20.6.25 ’Amazing Athletes’
I would like to thank all staff, students and parents and carers for their support this week and congratulate some of our amazingly talented athletes for, not only bearing the heatwave on Wednesday at the District Athletics Event, but also coming away with some superb records and individual achievements.
A particular mention must go to Emeka in Year 10 and Kyrese in Year 9. Their sprint times over 100 and 200 m place them up there as some of the fastest sprinters in the county.
Despite the heat, students have responded well and are continuing their focus on completing the final stretch of their external public exams at GCSE and A level, and revising hard for their Pre-Public Exams in school.
Staff as always are going the extra mile to support them and advise with revision and ongoing learning in lessons. As always don’t forget to click on the link and enjoy reading more of this week’s BMS News……..
