The highlight of my week this week, in amongst all the superb events and high quality lessons that have taken place at Bushey Meads School was, without a shadow of a doubt, the Stoke Mandeville Celebration Evening that took place yesterday.
Hosted by Nicky Day, our brilliant Team Leader for the wonderful TAPI Team here at BMS, the atmosphere during the evening event had a really positive, family and celebratory feel. The one hour long, high quality film produced by one of our TAPIs Maria Todesco, highlighted the amazing BASE students that we have in our school and the impact that the residential trip to the Stoke Mandeville National Junior Games has; the students are an inspiration to all of us!
They clearly had an excellent time at the Junior Games last term and even more certificates than ever came back to Bushey Meads. These were presented to the student champions yesterday evening – a real testimony to the sporting talent that exists in our school.
