Executive Principal’s Blog – 22.10.21: ‘A Moment in Time to Celebrate our School’
On Tuesday of this week it was a privilege to welcome Tania Rawle, Head of School Standards and Accountability in Hertfordshire to the Bushey St James Trust. She visited all three schools in our Multi Academy Trust and met as many staff and students as possible throughout the day. She also ‘officially opened’ our new extended and refurbished Art Department, our state-of-the-art Body Mind Soul Gym and our new outdoor gym which is being enjoyed by students both in and outside of lesson time.
She was incredibly impressed, not only with all the students she met throughout the day, but also the superb work on display. Pictured here she is appreciating the high-quality art work in our BSJT Gallery.
I would like to thank all the staff for their hard work over recent months to develop these key areas in the school which undoubtedly are enhancing our provision for all students. I would also like to thank all staff and students for making her visit so successful. We are hoping she will be joining us at the start of our annual Trust Conference on November 1st to once again see the powerful collaborations we have created both across and beyond the MAT.
At the end of another very successful half term at BMS, don’t forget to click on the link to read about more about this week’s BMS News and best wishes for a productive and safe half term holiday.
