Executive Principal’s Blog – 22.3.24 ‘Exciting Times for Year 9s’
There was a real buzz in school on Wednesday of this week for our latest Enrichment Day of the year and a similar atmosphere that evening when we welcomed all our Year 9 students back to school with their supportive parents for our annual Year 9 Options Evening. After informative talks in the Main Hall from Assistant Headteacher Mrs Greenwood, Pastoral Manager Mrs Smith and Work-Related Learning Coordinator Mrs King, students and parents spent time visiting the different curriculum stalls manned by key staff to find out more about the exciting options offered at Bushey Meads.
Our school has probably the most eclectic range of subject choices of any secondary school in the area and this sets us apart from many other schools. I would like to wish our Year 9 students every success as they carefully choose their next steps for Key Stage 4.
