Executive Principal’s Blog – 22.5.26: ‘Working Together, Going Above and Beyond.’
As we draw to the end of another very busy half term I would like to thank all the hard-working staff who have continued to effectively support all the children in our care, especially the Year 11 and Year 13 students, now in the middle of their respective public examinations.

Not all schools arrange a Maximising Achievement Timetable with bespoke final revision sessions arranged just before all the examinations, not all schools offer the very popular Study Saturdays and not all schools go the extra mile each and every day for the children in their care. This attitude and willingness to go above and beyond is something that makes Bushey Meads School unique and is an embedded and very special aspect of our caring community.

Parents and carers also play their important part. I would like to thank all the parents and carers for everything they also do to support the school, being part of this ongoing journey to ensure that every child achieves their potential during their time at the school and goes on to bright and exciting futures beyond Bushey Meads. Thank you also for your positive messages of gratitude that have come into school over the past few weeks – they have meant so much to all the dedicated staff.

I would like to thank all the parents and carers who have taken the time to complete the Parentview survey sent out over the last few weeks. Over 110 parents and carers have taken part. If you didn’t get the chance to do so, please do so via this link: ParentView Questionnaire

We do really appreciate your support and constructive feedback.

This weekend and next weekend our Study Saturdays continue in the LRC from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm for Year 11 and 13 students. Students can attend for as long as they want to within the four-hour timescale.

With many thanks for your support over the last half term. Do make sure you have a safe and productive week next week and don’t forget to also click on the usual link to read the latest BMS News……..
