Executive Principal’s Blog – 5.6.26: ‘Students Continue to Excel.’ A number of events this week have provided opportunities for our students to shine. These have included a joint Student Council meeting involving pupils from across the three schools in our multi academy trust. Led by Lucy in Year 12, ably assisted by a number of our senior student leaders, we welcomed staff, parents, Governors and Trustees to see how much we are collaborating and developing student leadership across our school communities. Linda Forbes, one of our primary school governors, who is a university tutor at University College London and has links with many schools across the region, contacted us after the event:
Dear All, I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent presentation from the students this morning. They all did so well and what a great example of collaboration between the schools for the benefit of the children and wider community. Best wishes, Linda.
On Wednesday evening a number of our talented dancers from all year groups across the school took part in our summer dance showcase evening, enjoyed by so many students, parents and carers, staff, Governors and friends of the school. Yet again it was a really impressive evening; a huge congratulations goes to all the staff and students involved!
Tomorrow our Study Saturdays continue in the LRC from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm for Year 11 and 13 students. Students can attend for as long as they want to within the four-hour timescale.
