Executive Principal’s Blog – 24.01.20: Every Little Helps!
 As we all continue to demonstrate our school mantra ‘Our School has a Mind to Be Kind’ one of the key values at the heart of our school, it is heart-warming to see the House collection points on the staff corridor slowly growing day by day in aid of our annual foodbank collection for the Red Trust Foodbank in Bushey.
Every little donation counts and all students (like Princess in 7 Maple who this morning brought in no less than 7 items for her growing House collection pile pictured here) will gain 1 Reward point for every item they bring in and contribute.
One of my best friends always inspires me when he says that he wants to be the ‘most generous person he knows’. If we all had that attitude the world would undoubtedly be a better place.
Well done Princess, well done to all students and staff who have contributed so far and lets all have one last push next week to exceed last year’s amount and really demonstrate our generous hearts.
It was Mother Teresa who said “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then just feed one.” Every little does really help and will certainly make a difference, so do get involved.
