This week has been a very busy week in the life of the school, not least because many different stakeholders (students, staff, Governors and Trustees from across the Bushey St James Trust) have been involved in an extremely rigorous two-day interview process to select a new Deputy Headteacher for Bushey Meads School.
In response to a national advert the school received nearly twenty extremely strong applications, from which six candidates were chosen for interview on Tuesday of this week. Undertaking a wide variety of challenging tasks the field was narrowed down to three outstanding candidates for Day 2 on Wednesday. At the end of the final day I am delighted to announce that Mrs Ash (one of our current experienced Assistant Headteachers) was appointed to the post.
As many of you are aware, Mrs Ash is already a key leader within our school and, in the last three years, has been instrumental in helping to transform Bushey Meads School and take it to the next level – not least in her work with our growing Sixth Form and in overseeing the Pastoral and Inclusion agendas at BMS. We are all delighted with her appointment and wish her every continued success here at Bushey Meads.
With best wishes for a good weekend and don’t forget to click on the link to read about the rest of this week’s BMS News……..
