Executive Principal’s Blog – 25.3.22 ’Enjoying and Excelling at BMS’
Seeing students excel is something every teacher and every parent wants to see – young people enjoying and excelling in life. Since writing the last EP’s Blog we have had the privilege of seeing young people at Bushey Meads do this again and again, most notably at two showcase events that have taken place in the last week, facilitated by staff within our vibrant Performing and Visual Arts Faculty.
Last Friday evening parents, staff, students and friends of the school were enthralled by an amazing evening of GCSE and A Level dance performance which powerfully demonstrated our growing reputation as a centre of excellence for dance in the local area. On Wednesday of this week our talented Drama A Level students were performing as part of their practical exam – again enthralling the audiences present.
I would like to congratulate all the students involved and once again thank all the teachers for their dedicated teaching, encouragement, support and guidance over the years to craft and hone those abilities that enabled the students to truly shine.
