Executive Principal’s Blog – 3.2.23 ‘Thank You for Your Support’
I would like to thank all parents and carers for their support with the challenges experienced this week at Bushey Meads School and for enabling their children to complete as much work as possible at home on Wednesday, using the varied online platforms provided.
It was good to be able to accommodate the relatively small number of Year 11 and 13 students in school – many of whom made the most of their access to the resources available. It was also nice to receive this positive message from one of their parents:
Please can you pass on my thanks and appreciation to the staff that were in school on Wednesday. My son is in Year 11 and wanted to come into school to revise all day and he was pleased that he was able to do that. I’d also like to say that I think the school is going above and beyond to prepare Year 11 for their GCSE’s, the rolling form time programme, along with after-school revision is well organised and I hope will pay dividends in the summer. Thank you again for all that the staff at BMS do, day in and day out.
Best Wishes, Year 11 Parent
Yesterday it was back to business as usual and a real delight to see such high engagement across all year groups for our third, hugely successful enrichment day of the academic year. A big thank you goes to Assistant Headteacher Mrs Greenwood and all the staff who helped to deliver so many fantastic and very different learning activities that truly enrich our already broad and varied curriculum. The pictures say it all…..
As always do click on the link to read this week’s BMS News highlighting some of the things that have been happening in our fantastic learning community this week.
