Executive Principal’s Blog – 8.3.24 ‘Distinction across the Board’ This week I was delighted to hear about the success of our Year 12 Sixth Form students studying the Level 3 Extended Certificate in IT. The whole class have just completed one of their major areas of study (Unit 3) and received their moderated results. A huge congratulations goes to the whole class as all of them achieved the highest grade Distinction!
Some students in the class were predicted to achieve this highest grade, but 75% of the class achieved this incredible result and exceeded their predictions by a whole grade. The attitude to learning that they have shown, coupled with the dedication of the teacher Mr Abusef made for a winning formula and a great start to their post 16 studies.
I would also like to pay tribute to Miss Joannou who organised a brilliant Dance Showcase Event across our Multi Academy Trust which took place in the Main Hall last Friday afternoon. Parents and carers from across the three schools in our MAT packed the hall and enjoyed a superb afternoon of stunning performances. It was an incredibly inspiring event and a real celebration of the amazing talent that exists in our Trust.
