Developing teaching and learning at BMS continues to be a primary core focus for the school and I would like to remind all parents and carers about our next staff training day on Monday 30th November. Students will not be in school on this day. In addition we have a scheduled staff development afternoon on Tuesday 8th December and school will be finishing at 1.20 pm; the bus service operated by Mullaneys has been informed and students will be able to buy extra snacks at breaktime from the School Restaurant.
Our second annual Governors’ Day took place on Tuesday of this week and was a real success with many of the Governors enjoying their day at the school and really noting the significant improvements with so many areas and aspects of our vibrant learning community.
An added highlight of the week for me was Wednesday evening’s superb Senior Music Concert – another great reminder of the superb talent that exists in our wonderful school.
