| Executive Principal’s Blog: Stunning STEM Specialism Showcase
Yesterday our inspiring annual Design and Technology Celebration Event showcased everything that is superb about our unique specialist status here at Bushey Meads. After a formal welcome by Head of Faculty Mr Chalkley in the Main Hall we were entertained by some of our talented dancers who modelled some highly creative fashion designs made in textiles lessons. This was followed by the formal presentation of certificates to students for their effort and attainment across the eclectic curriculum offer in design and technology at the school.
So many staff, students, parents and carers commented about the high quality of work on display from all levels in the school from Key Stage 3 through to some incredible A level creations. As well as that, the enrichment offer within the faculty was also fully represented, including our nationally acclaimed achievements made through our STEM Club’s participation in the prestigious F1 in Schools National Competition. |
