Executive Principal’s Blog – 9.12.19: ‘Feedback is the breakfast of champions.’
It is always great to receive positive feedback about the work of staff at Bushey Meads School who I see on a daily basis going the extra mile for students in their care. After the recent Year 7 Parents’ Evening two parents emailed me to say:
“We just wanted to drop a quick note to say how impressed we were by the enthusiasm and passion showed by our son’s teachers last night.”
An ex member of staff who now works in an expensive private school in the North of England contacted me to state:
“For the last few weeks I have been working at a top private school near Harrogate doing supply teaching in the Social Science department and just wanted to say, that even with all the amazing resources and seemingly endless budget they are not a patch on Bushey Meads School Social Science department. The fees are ridiculously high and from my time spent there it seems that money doesn’t buy you teachers who are passionate about their subjects and promote a love of learning by engaging the students. I know where I would rather send my daughter and it’s not the private school. Keep up the good work!”
A Governor of one of the school’s in our Multi Academy Trust also emailed me after reading our superb Ofsted report:
“I have just read the Bushey Meads Ofsted report and wanted to say … what a fantastic report! It really reflects the hard work and ethos of Bushey Meads. You must all be very proud. From a governor of one BSJT school to another, please pass on a big ‘well done’ to the team at Bushey Meads.”
At the same time a Senior Leader in one of the school’s in our Multi Academy Trust also passed on his congratulations:
An excellent achievement in the face of the early stages of a very challenging framework. Congratulations to you all!
