As we come to the end of another very busy term at Bushey Meads School I would like to thank all students, staff, parents and carers and Governors and Trustees for their continued hard work and commitment to the life of the school. As always at this time of year we have had a real focus on raising achievement with all year groups, but in particular with our hard working Year 11 and 13 students who are preparing so well for their forthcoming examinations in May and June of this year.
Over the next two weeks there are a whole host of additional revision sessions being offered by so many staff who are clearly ‘going the extra mile’ for our students – something that I know does not happen in all schools. As we finish the term the theme of the week of Aspiration has reminded us of why we are here – to ensure that we continue to strengthen the deep embedded culture of aspiration across our learning community enabling all students to succeed in all areas of their lives.
Above all it is aspiration together that we strive for and not just with academic success, but in all areas – the kindness continues, our moral purpose prevails and our undying enthusiasm for seeing young people succeed endures.
With grateful thanks for your continued commitment to these values and very best best wishes for a good Easter holiday. As always don’t forget to click on the link to read about the rest of this week’s BMS News……..
